Today I spent my afternoon in the studio, crocheting a hat. My afternoon was going fine till I decided to fit in my Middie the hat which I just had finished... Oh! Wrong! Bad! Buuh!! I had to undo all the job I just had done... Then I decided to draw something and:

I need to improve my style. I need draw a little bit more...

Life change and you should face it

Sometimes I wake up tired of this life, sometimes full of energy.

Last year was worst than horrible, no job, feeling like in a hole, questioning all I done... and at the end, light, a job, renewed energies. But, while all looks good the darkness comes back again in Christmas.
Yeah, last Christmas were kinda horrible, not worst than 8 years ago, but hard. Feel how you're losing half of your heart without a clear ¿why? it's not easy. Is like fall from clouds without parachute. But my "bald witch" taught me how face life, how become a fighter and that's the main reason because I'm trying to keep smiling.
I keep smiling because the tears, I keep smiling because the pain hurting my heart... I keep smiling... You taught me how to be a strong lady and why I should keep smiling... And this is what I'm doing,

Now I'm facing a new challenge. I have a shared studio with the talented Eli Basanta and a new position in my job, 4 months after my beginning as 24x7 Operator during weekends, I'm becoming Specialized Operator from Monday to Friday and I know my "bald witch" is feeling proud of me, 'cause from the top of this vast universe he is taking care of us as he used to do.

I will keep always smiling because of you, my "bald witch". You taught me of to become proud of myself and this is what I'm doing. Love came and now is gone but how we face this kind of situations is only our job.


You will be always in my heart and taking care of us from the top of the universe, and this is why I will never forget you, dad.

Shoes I love

Ok, I have my blog so neglected.... really neglected.... Damm! I'm the worst blogger over this world hahahaha

Well! I decide to post today. Why? I dunno. Maybe 'cause in the last weeks I have a lot of slots opened in my Chrome... Facebook, Etsy, Gmail.... Iron Fist Online Shop! (Oh! Lord! I love shoes like kids loves candies!)... and I fall in a lot of crushes and I need to let the world know about my madness hahahaha.

One of my favourites are this one:

~ Carpet Project ~

Today I started a trapillo* carpet. I had it started in round form but I preffered redo it with a semi-square form.Here a collage with some pics. I think I need another ball of trapillo 'cause if not it will be so small and I wanna use it in my bathroom :D

Oh! I'm so happy, today has been a strange but great day. I had my first telephonic interview (in english!!!) and I think I done it perfect hahahahaha xD

But, after my happiness, has come the tragedy. I have decided to made some purchases in Internet  because today has been

THE BLACK FRIDAY!!! 

But I think something is wrong 'cause the shop sended me the order confirmation mail but didn't sent me the payment request  :S
Because this I wrote a mail to the shop and their answering was an automatic mail with this message:   

"Hi there, 
  Thank you for writing. We are currently closed for a local Holiday, and will reopen on November 26. Shipping will resume, and we will begin answering e-mails at that time."

WEIRD!! But, don't mind! I'm really happy today! And I have decided end it with this lovely and tasty creation!

My very first brioix! It's about 750gr and I have enough flour for make another one of the same weight! Hahahahahaha!!

~ New Pants ~

A couple of months ago I was trying to make a new pants for my boyfriend's Action Man but they didn't look really cool...
Today I improve a new pattern and... TADÁ!

They look better but... are a little bit small in the back and so straight. I remade the pattern and, if possible, tomorrow I'll try again :D

~ Reroot wefted PBP ~

Wow! Yesterday I was taking a look at this tutorial in We Love Blythe Brasil and today I decided try to do it with a scalp and 3 wefted bags of hair (all from Coolcat) I'd buy two years ago for give a new look to Sorami (she's based on my young sister and my sister's hair is curly and brown, not red as the doll I used has base (FrFr)).
My fingers hurts a lot but... it looks really great!

If you wanna try to do it you need:

~ Picco Neemo bodies ~

I'm so excited, the new bodies I bought a couple of weeks ago are just arrived! Now I need to decide which one I'll use for my Carola Escarola.

I'm really impressed with D body, it can stand up! But I'm not really sure if with Carola's head it'll stand up too :S

Custom process ~ Restarting

After more than a year I restart customicing a really special doll and I decide reupdate all the photos of the process.

Here the doll as she arrives on 2011

She arrived in very bad conditions and this makes me think about a better future for her.

I restored a little bit her mouth on 2011

I uploaded some pics in Flickr of the make-up I made her in 2011 and how I unmake-up her because I hate how she looks.

It was hard but, little by little the make-up was removed

And I repainted her eyemech

Since then I tried to repaint her face with Montana (in Summer) because the green of her mouth (was rebuilded with green epoxi!!!! O__O), but it didn't give me a really good result and I sanded her face again and put her in a drawer. But, some days ago arrives Carola Escarola at home and I restarted my custom works. And her was not an exception. I was recarving her mouth, taking out some excess.

Now her mouth looks a little bit better

I know it's complicated find the diference because I didn't take photos of her mouth in this position when she cames home. But, now the sides beside the mouth are soft, before they sides were like a precipice didn't looks natural.
BTW I hope I could give her a better life, because she'll be a special gift for someone really special.

Customizing Carola Escarola

She's in home since the last week. I adopted she in Oh Blythe! City Forum.

After think a lot why to do I started today customizing her. My boyfriend have a lot of tools and this was incredible, 'cause I don't have all the tools I need to customizing dolls ;P

                                                      Carola opened and ready to be customized!




I carved her mouth and nose. Now it's a bit rounded. But I need to work hard if I want she looks the most prettiest of this city!

Losing weight [Part 1]

I wanna lose some weight, 'cause since some years ago I become bigger and that's not good for my health. Apart from this I'm allergic to dust and every step I take is harder than before. I'll do it... Yes! I'll do!

Weekend trip

I was the last weekend spending my time with my little sunshine in L'Escala. Sometimes the sun was shining and then all became grey. Was funny!
In the apartment under ours was a french family, all time discusing (at least that's what I think, 'cause they spoke all the time so loud).
Aix! We walked around L'Escala and ate icecreams in the beach. It was just two days ago and I'm mising this time :( I miss our meal in the balcon, the fight with the Coco, the cereals without any kind of accompaniment...
Aix! Thanks a lot little sunshine! Was great ;D

Custom process ~ Unmake-up

------------------------

I'm customizing a head I buyed to Ronmiel a month ago (plus or minus). Sincerely I was unhappy with the work I done and I decided restart from the begining.
The worst part of this is how all around you looks during the process, it's like a Circus. My paper basket is full of inked cottons. But I'm sure she will be so beauty. Then I'll mount her head and do a handmade dome (or buy one, but I'm sure I won't buy it, I'm poor).
I'll post when I'll advanced in my "work" xD
